The staff meeting's over, and I've just gotten home~~
Noa was a really good girl, and slept the whole time,
thankfully~~
And, now that we're home,
Noa-tan is sitting quietly and watching Inai Inai Baa, and while she's doing that...
I'm gonna hurry and get started making dinner
Today I'm going to use this cabbage that's in the fridge
And
after cutting out the heart of the cabbage,
I put the leaves in the hot water
Once it's gotten soft,
I turn it over
While this is cooking, I prepare the filling~~
Onion
Carrots
and, the cabbage heart
that I cut out before...
all finely chopped
I mix them together with the ground meat
And into that, I put:
Potato starch
Salt & pepper
Saké
and mix them together well
Next,
I take a boiled cabbage leaf and top it with meat
and wrap it up
In the end they come out like this~
I made a whole bunch of these,
And...
crammed them, like this, into the pan
(If you roll them with kanpyou (dried gourd shavings), they don't come apart very easily, but since I didn't...)
I packed them in tightly so they hopefully wouldn't come apart...
And surprisingly, it worked!
Then, I seasoned it with:
Consommé
Salt & pepper
and let it simmer
That's right!
Today is cabbage rolls~
All that's left is to wait until they're done cooking
Then, because we had this little guy in the fridge...
Mentaiko (pollock roe)
Hmm, one more ingredient.........
What shall I make with that, I wonder~~~

That actually looked pretty appetizing, I've never had a cabbage roll before. It almost reminded me of a stuffed pepper. I'm sure the taste is way different though.
I thought they looked mad interesting, too! Being a vegetarian , I'd have to substitute something for the beef, but... I might just have to try this with tofu or something~ <3
wow, she makes cabbage rolls! I really like them :) (it's so strange to call them "cabbage rolls" instead of Rus name %)))
and some people make them without meat, it's also tasty :) and we make them with tomato sauce, it's very tasty :)
