Tonight's dinner was like this~~
Cabbage rolls
Renkon (lotus root), kinpira style
[note: "kinpira" is a kind of sauté and simmer cooking technique)
And,
I made the mentaiko (pollock roe) potato salad, but then I thought maybe I would put a little cheese on top and fry it a bit...
so I did...
It was kinda like having gratin two days in a row...
It wasn't a very balanced dinner, but......
I worked really hard to make everything...
Forgive me, you guys.........
And for Noa-tan...
Noa's was regular potato salad that I fried up for her
But Noa-tan
really seemed to like the cabbage rolls a lot,
and was munching away on them
It made me really happy
Today the three of us had a really nice family dinner together~~
