First up is the buri no nitsuke (yellowtail simmered in sweetened soy sauce)~~
My mother taught me how to make boiled dishes like this~~~
To season it, I used......
soy sauce, saké, mirin, sugar, aji no moto (MSG), dashi, and ginger~!
Non always likes her boiled stuff to be a bit sweet, so that's how I make them...
And there was also...
nattou + takuan (pickled daikon)
It *looks* kinda weird, but...
I'm pretty obsessed with this these days, and I eat it practically allll day long...

Buying this big, heavy daikon, grating its looooooong daikon self...it was totally worth it!!
