☆湯豆腐ダィェット☆ / ☆Yudoufu Diet☆
Theme:blog
At Non's request, tonight's dinner was mizutaki (chicken & veggies simmered hot-pot style)~~~〃
I've loved mizutaki for a long time〃
Tonight's also contained the famous yudoufu (boiled toufu)
Yep
When it comes to yudoufu...
I've gotten a lot of questions about it, so now I'm going to talk a little about my yudoufu diet, okay~~
There was a time when Non was hooked on yudoufu, and ate it constantly...and in about a year and a half,
lost about 15 kg [33 lbs]
But,
it wasn't that I intended to diet, I just gradually became more and more obsessed with yudoufu
is all
Incidentally, before I got hooked on it,
my height was 151 cm [~4' 11''], and I weighed over 60 kg [~132 lbs]
Incredible, huh?
........................But
I wasn't really planning to diet, but eating the yudoufu...
every day as my main dietary staple.....................
gradually I came to weigh less and less
And I was really happy and enjoyed the fact that I was losing weight, so then I began a full-blown yudoufu diet
Up until then, I had always snacked a lot, but once I started my yudoufu diet I did that less too
Yudoufu is quite filling, and you stay full for quite a while
And when you're sick of how it tastes, you can flavor it with ponzu (a mix of soy sauce and citrus juice), or gomadare (seasame sauce), or whatever you want
Non, by the way, especially loved it with chanja (a Korean side dish, spicy pickled cod intestines) and ponzu
Momiji oroshi (grated daikon+red chili peppers) is also just fantastic
And when you're sick of yudoufu, you can switch over to toufu salad...
Non was just obsessed with toufu, and was eating just a bunch of toufu dishes
But it's important to maintain balance when you're eating lots of yudoufu, so I'd also get the hot pot with pork in it,
and with renkon (lotus root) and other vegetables...
With a little invention and imagination, I was able to really enjoy my toufu diet
"You don't snack?"
a lot of people asked me
And while I didn't snack much, I always thought it was important -- not to overdo it of course, but -- once a day, every day, to eat something sweet
I think that unrelieved stress is the number one reason people fail at their diets
(At least, that's what my own experience has taught me...)
And so even when Non was on her toufu diet, she made the decision to have an ice cream or
some cake
or something, once each day
I think that keeping your stress level low is the most important thing
And after that, not to eat too much of anything
You can't be like, "I can eat as much as I want, 'cause it's toufu~" or whatever
Well, Non has recently gained about 3 kg [~6.6 lbs], so for tonight's dinner I went with mizutaki〃
It's so tasty
"Maybe I'll start a yudoufu diet again for a bit~"
I thought to myself
Well,
that's all
You now know all about Tsuji-chan's toufu diet〃
