Today for lunch, our family...
TA-DA!
went to Tsurutontan~~~
Yay!
Here's a shot outside the entrance~~
It'd been so crazy long since the last time we were here!!
And by the way, the outfit I'm wearing
is from a shop in Spain-zaka in Shibuya~
And
the dish I ordered today was...
you guessed it...
TA-DA!
Gyuusuji (beef tendon) curry udon
with extra beef tendon, aburakasu (deep-fried pieces of cow intestine), and cheese as toppings~~
Itadakimaaaaaasu!
So gooood~
Tsurutontan's curry udon really is crazy tasty
And today I challenged myself to try something new
TA-DA!
Chilled spicy tantanmen
[note: according to Wikipedia, 'tantanmen' is a "Japanese version of [Chinese] dan dan noodles. Ramen in a reddish, spicy chilli and sesame soup, usually containing minced pork, garnished with chopped scallion and chili and occasionally topped with the likes of spinach"]
This!! was delicious beyond my wildest imagination
It was refreshingly hot and spicy...
I might be in real danger with this one
I might end up just as obsessed with it as I am with gyuusuji curry
Man~...I ate such a mad lot...
Probably ate way too much...
And, and, *also*~
here it is~
Dessert!
Vanilla & annindoufu
ice cream
Itadakimaaaaasu!
Ahh...this is happiness~~
A wonderful dessert to follow spicy curry udon and tantanmen
Delicious and refreshing
Man~...I ate a *mad* lot this afternoon
It was crazy tasty~~
And I'm crazy happy
Gochisousama deshita~~
Oh, but whither now my diet...............
[note: here she uses a kind-of old-fashioned/literary construction ('izuko he' rather than modern 'doko he') meaning "to where"/"to what place"]
My belt is...
s-s-s-so tight...
But I'm gonna suck it up and head out to my meeting now
