We're having a rainy

And

last night, Rakuten hosted this little party,

[note: Rakuten (楽天) is a huge online shopping company (now diversified into several other internet and other areas as well); apparently the "party" was a promotional sort of get-together, as all the food served can be bought through Rakuten]
and, having been invited, I attended~~

And I was able to get a picture of me and Mikitani-san, the president of Rakuten

Thank you so much!

And Ogawa Makoto-chan was there last night too~

[note: Mako posts about this event here]

Mako's so cute!!

I really love her

And it seems that she reads Non Piece everyday, even!

I was so happy to hear that

Thanks!

And we all took a picture together~~

Umamiya Anna-san was also there~~

[note: and Umamiya-san posts (including another group photo) about it here; also, one of the other attendees, Ochi Chieko, posts with a photo of her and Tsuji]
She's a mom too, with many years more experience than me

She's so beautiful and sweet and I really admire her a lot

And we enjoyed a very delicious dinner last night

First was...

TA-DA!

and then,

TA-DA!

TA-DA!

This meat...

was so tender it practically melted the moment it touched your tongue

It was crazy delicious~

And you can buy it online, from Rakuken~!

Along with all kinds of other stuff

You guys should definitely check them out~

And for dessert, we had this incredible dish~~

Isn't it cute?

This dessert is made with red wine

I gobbled it right up, and actually ended up getting a bit tipsy...

It was my first time experiencing the taste of red wine, but I found it quite delicious~~

Thank you so very much for inviting me to such a truly incredible event

I appreciate everything that the people of Rakuten have done, and will undoubtedly continue to do, for the Sugiura family,

and I look forward to our continued relationship~~

[note: much of this post, and these two preceding lines in particular, involve certain somewhat standardized respectful phrases appropriate for this sort of occasion (these tend to be a bit harder to render in English, but I've tried to do my best)]
Thank you!!
