Noa's daddy returned yesterday from a week working out on location〃
And
[note: she writes the last syllable of this word ('soshite') at the start of the next line of text (I guess it's a typo)]
, he brought back some presents for us
Th-th-they were...
TA-DA!
a huge octopus~
and
a very large tai (sea bream)~
and, and,
some sole~
That's a...amazing...
There's no way I can clean these by myself...
And so,
Non called up her daddy, and since he was in the neighborhood,
I asked him to come by
[note: I'm not entirely positive that the "since he was in the neighborhood" part is accurate; she may have simply asked him to drive over]
Actually, Non's daddy
has his chef's license, and he used to have a restaurant, so cleaning fish is one of his specialties
And so,
I got him to clean them for me~~
He looks pretty cool, too, doing it〃
He's so deft and speedy at it
In the blink of an eye, he'd cleaned and cut up the tai
TA-DA!
TA-DA!
TA-DA!
Wow!
I'm a little in awe of him now
Thanks, Daddy
Well,
now it's time for the baton pass...
...over to Non, who will get started with the cooking〃
Tai & octopus & sole...
I wonder what I should make with them~~~〃
I'm mulling it over now...

Yikes. I hope her dad was just in the neighborhood since we all know that it's over an hour by train to get to Tsuji's parents' house.
There is nothing in this world that would stop a dad from helping his little girl =)
