Today I got together with one of my friends from elementary school who I hadn't seen in a really long time
She is a mother of two, actually
[note: she uses what seems a really odd word here to describe what kind of mother she is, 二次, which means "second" (as in the second world war), or "secondary"/"second order"...but it seems to be used like this to mean "mother of two"]
She has a little boy who's the same age as Noa~
They're playing together really well
And for today's lunch, I went to the bakery
This bakery has been around for a long time, and their bread is always freshly baked,
and delicious
and incredibly cheap
You can get one roll for only 70 yen,
and even when I bought this much,
it was only 800 yen!
Crazy cheap, huh?
And they had little guys like this:
I got these little breads too
I was really happy~
And Non decided on
Melon pan
[note: 'pan' is the word for bread]
~~~
It was crunchy and delicious
And there was also this one,
Chunky peanut butter pan
which Non picked too~
Cheap,
delicious,
with a taste that's so nostalgic...............
It had been a while since I'd eaten this bread, and it made me really happy
