Today when I went to a certain supermarket, SURPRISE!

The vegetables were so cheap!

Onions

<
100 yen

Potatoes

<
100 yen

Bannou negi (a type of small green onion/chive)

108 yen

Yamaimo (mountain yams)

100 yen

And,

these huuge broccoli

138 yen

They had so many other cheap vegetables too~~~

If you buy it back in the city things are so expensive -- like, broccoli costs about 300 yen -- so when I go back to my parents' house, I make sure to stock up like this~~~

And not just vegetables, meat and fish are also really cheap~~~

I get really pumped when things are so cheap~~~

I bought a *lot*~

I bought a bit too much...

When things are cheap, I go around, like 'oh, this too, and this'

Same as the 100 yen shop...

But now, I can freeze

By the way, what I do at home is

spread chicken out in bags and freeze them, like this,

and divide up the ground meat into servings and freeze it

Doing this makes it easy to thaw them out later and use them~~~

What about you guys?

If you have a better way of doing it, please let me know~

Oh!

But y'know, y'know,

It seems that daddy isn't going to get back today until pretty late...

[note: that is, Noa's daddy; Taiyou]
so dinner tonight is just going to be me and Noa

I'd been thinking that all of us were going to eat together, but he's working really hard on this job, y'know...

So I guess it can't be helped

.........But...

I bought all these ingredients and everything...
For tonight's dinner...

I wonder what I should do~~~

Honey...

[note: she calls him 'papa' again here, too, but...]
do your best, okay~

We'll be waiting~
