Everyone,
Good morning!
Wh-wh-wh-what?!
Today, my daughter Noa-tan turns one year and six months old~
A round of applause! Yay~!
[note: the word she uses here is 'pachipachi' -- an onomatopoeic word for clapping; either a description of what Tsuji is doing or like a flashing 'Applause' sign letting you know what to do]
She's one and a half already, wow...
It sure was tough, though, a year and a half ago...
............Labor
really hurt~~~
I no longer remember the pain itself, only the fact that it hurt so crazy much
But that experience a year and a half ago was an incredibly difficult one...
an incredibly painful one...
Now I've got Noa, though,
and she's crazy adorable,
don't you think?
There are pain-free delivery methods now,
but I would still recommend choosing normal, vaginal birth
But of course,
even without experiencing the pain of labor, those 10 long months after becoming a bride... involve their fair share of difficulties, y'know?
[note: it seems probable that "bride" (新婦 'shinpu') here is actually a typo for "pregnant woman" (妊婦 'ninpu')]
But that particular pain can only be experienced at that time, and I think that pushing through and overcoming it really makes you stronger!!
So all you expectant mommies out there,
remember that afterwards you'll get to meet your adorable, adorable little babies, so hang in there!!
My own little one, who weighed 2730 grams [~6lbs 3oz] a year and a half ago, is now
12 kg [~26lbs 7oz]
She's growing up so fast, growing up big and strong
These days she's been getting up to a lot of mischief, and has also started suddenly coming down with fevers and stuff...
Things are difficult in different ways than they were before,
but this is just one more important sort of growth and development
It's really fun, and I'm crazy happy
I made it through the tough period of time that was pregnancy,
and the painful experience that was labor,
and I truly feel so very happy to have given birth
And I think that this experience, more than anything else, has really helped me grow and mature
I'm sure there will be many more difficult things to come, but I want to try and take those
difficulties and turn them into
fun experiences, and in so doing, to overcome them
Moms are strong!
I'm going to do my best!
Noa-tan,
congratulations on turning one-and-a-half!
And
I'd like to congratulate
your daddy and me too!
Let's the three of us continue to give it our best, together!
Noa,
Daddy,
I love you!!!
Thank you for always bringing me such happiness and joy
