Everyone,
Good morning!
I mentioned before that I would do it eventually, so today, here at
"Non Piece"
I would like to show you how to make bows〃
Yaaaaay!
First,
these are the tools and materials that you'll need
Fabric of the color and pattern you want your bow to be
Scissors
Double-sided tape
You should start by gathering all of these together
And then next,
cut the fabric to the size you want your bow to be,
and apply the double-sided tape along three sides
[note: what I think is actually happening with this is either (1) you cut out two pieces of fabric of the size you want the bow to be, and then tape them together along three of their sides; or (2) you cut out one piece twice the size you want the finished bow, fold it in half, and then tape it closed along two sides (either way you end up with the same basic thing -- a pouch with one open side)]
By the way, you need to do this so the fabric ends up inside-out
And after you tape it,
you should pull the whole thing so it's right-side-out again,
and then run a strip of double-sided tape along that last open side and press it shut
Then,
and the exact size will depend on the size of your bow, but
cut yourself a strip of fabric about 3~4 cm wide, and run a piece of the double-sided tape down the length (of the reverse side) of it,
fold over the excess so the ends stick together
Then,
wrap this around the middle of the bow base that you made earlier,
wind it around and around this larger piece of cloth and fasten in place, and once you've done that............
TA-DA!
you've made huge bow just like the ones I always wear!
It's surprisingly simple, right?
So everyone, definitely, definitely go out there
and try making your own original bows~
By the way,
Non's collection of bows to wear for work is................................................
TA-DA!
all these!
My stylist made each and every one of them
Isn't that amazing?
But,
I'd like to continue to grow my collection, and get more in the colors that I don't have yet
It's spring, so perhaps next will be yellow~
Non's trademark bows...
Even after turning 30, or even 40...............
I wanna keep wearing themmmm...
I want to wear bows till the very end
I'll keep on working hard, fueled by bow power!!
That is all
This has been Tsuji-chan's bow-making course~~~〃
Until next time~〃

Oh gosh... Tsuji, you really don't need such big bows. xD
Hehe... I guess the bigger they are, the more "bow power" she can harness... XD
(And btw, sorry this post is up so late...her explanation of how to make them was so confusing that I needed to find an English language how-to of the same basic thing, and then actually make one myself in order to figure out wtf she was actually talking about for parts of it...XD)
For the big bows, i think what she means and what she does, is the second of your options, it's what i do when i make a bow, except i sew my sides lol, her method is pretty quick and effective lol ^__^
WoW Jantzeeee thanks for going above and beyond. we bow(translation note: Bow meaning to stoop or bend in a token of respect and not one of nono's bows she wears.) to your elite translation skills...even though ill prolly never make or wear a nono bow its still cool to see never know might be a useful skill for later in life lol.
thanks.
Earlier I wanted to try to make a bow so bad lol I translated it to the best of ability, which was very rough so I could make one. I wish I had double sided tape though it would be so much easier.
For that one part you cut a piece of fabric and fold it hot dog style.
I can't wait for the noa-banana post.
How does she keep her bow ON her head? O_o I wanna try making my own bows~!! But...I think sewing them would make them a little more durable and not fray.
Any ideas on how she keeps her bow on top of her head?
Bobby pins, maybe? I dunno...
