On the way back from Shimamura,

we stopped by a penny candy store

Look, look

There was lots of this really nostalgic penny candy

I've been eating it a lot lately

and

and

and

well, these yogurt-looking things, and

[note: actually, they're called 'puchi puchi uranai choko' "tiny little fortunetelling chocolates"]

There's a fortune with each one piece, so I used to get them all the time, back in the day

And,

And,

chocolates

So cute, aren't they?

With penny candy, you get little fortunes, prizes, and stuff like that too, so you have lots of fun while eating them, y'know?

I've loved them for such long time

Since penny candy stores are so cheap, a lot of times when we'd go on school trips, when there was a 300 yen limit

But there are a lot fewer of these stores these days...

So it's harder to buy that stuff

I mean, they do sell it at convenience stores now...
But Non really likes to buy it from the penny candy store and eat it

Are there any penny candy stores that you guys know that have been around for a long time and are still open now?

If there are, I'd love to go~

I wonder if there'll still be penny candy stores when Noa's grown up...

I hope they'll be around forever!

'Cause I really love penny candy...

My favorite kind, by the way, has gotta be...............

I think~

No matter how many I've eaten, I can always eat more

Heeheeheeheehee~~
