Tonight's dinner looked like this

Karaage (deep-fried meat, usually chicken)

Jagaimo no soboroni (a simmered dish of potatoes and ground meat)

Miso dengaku (fried skewers of toufu, konjac, or veggies coated in a miso-based sauce)

And,

Miso soup
, and
Takikomi gohan with nametake (a kind of wild mushroom)

Since you guys sent me puchi mails about the takikomi gohan with nametake, I decided to try and make it today~

It's really simple and tasty

Thank you so much for telling me about it

It was delicious

And,

Noa's daddy knew that Non wasn't feeling well,

so he went and bought some apples, and made...

Fresh-squeezed apple juice
for me

It was so sweet and delicious

I drank a whole bunch

It'll be wonderful if, by drinking the fresh apple juice he made me,

I get better really fast

Honey,

[note: here, again, what she actually calls him is 'Papa' "Daddy"]
Thank you!

Hehe, Taiyou posted on his blog about making the apple juice, too. XD Isn't it generally orange juice that's thought to bring people out of a cold? Oh well.
Did he? Hehe...
But yeah, I was thinking about that too...it seems like people are generally wanting of orange juice for the vitamin C to theoretically help their immune system fight off the cold, right? ...So the only thing I could figure is it's maybe something to do with the "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" saying, or something. I don't actually know if that exists in Japanese, though...
