Everyone,
Good morning!
And,〃
thank you so much for the many comments
I read them last night (quietly, so as not to wake up Noa) when I was snuggled up in bed〃
You guys are all so kind...
It made me truly happy to have started this blog〃
Thank you all so much for your encouragement
I hope that you'll all
continue to support "Non Piece"〃
And, as for breakfast this morning, it looked like this
As you might expect, it was yesterday's leftover.........
Ode~n
It's really hard to make just one serving of oden, y'know?
So I end up having oden for breakfast too
And,
Sandwiches
Ham & cucumber, and
Egg salad
~〃
They were delicious
Gochisousama deshita〃
And, and,〃
today,
March 26th, Noa-tan
has turned 1 year and 4 months old~~~
Yay!
And so I tried putting her hair in little pigtails
Since Noa was born, she hasn't once had a single haircut
Her hair is really thin and fine...〃
Now that she's a year and four months, I'm finally able to put her hair up
With these little bow hairties that my stylist gave me
Lately I've gotten lots of adorable hairties
Is Noa-san also getting all hyped up, I wonder~~~
...........................
...............
Not hyped at all~
Yeah...she doesn't seem to be in a very good mood today...
And so, since the weather seems to be really nice, LET'S GO! out to the balcony〃
Now she's much more lively
That was easy
On a nice day, it's much better to be outside, huh?
Maybe later we'll go down to the park
Ahh
it feels so nice when the weather's good〃
Not a single cloud
But the pollen.............................................is really bad.........
Looks like a mask will be necessary again today〃
Well, I'm working this evening〃
so until then I want to spend a nice, relaxing day〃
.........〃

Congratulations, Noa! *www*<3
She's so cute with her hair like that ~
I especially love the one of Noa slouched over the kotatsu ^^
And those sandwiches look soooo tasty... I really miss those kind of Japanese sandwiches ;_;
You can't make white bread sandwiches at home? ^^;;;
I dunno, I think the bread is a bit different from what we've got here (and I know the mayo is). And they just *taste better* from the コンビニ, somehow... ^^;;;;
You used to be able to get Kewpie mayo at Little Japan, but alas, it is no more...
Those pigtails Noa was wearing made me see 12 year old Nono. LOL.
I've never tried the Kewpie mayo before...but there's a Japanese market that I go to every now and then that sells it. Maybe next time I'll pick it up, along with some bread from their bakery (it's so thickly sliced...mmmmm ^_^)...
I've had cucumber sandwiches before, but never with mayo and ham...but I'll give everything a try once! ~♥
i wonder if mayo and cucumber would taste good with turkey on a sandwich (I dont like ham) hrmm.. what is kewpie mayo? I have a couple japanese markets, but i think maybe i should stick with my fat free mayo lol
@Laura - Kewpie is a really popular brand of Japanese mayonnaise (it comes in a little squeeze bottle, and their logo is a Kewpie doll). As far as the differences between American and Japanese mayo:
"The difference in American mayonnaise and Japanese mayonnaise is that American one uses white distilled vinegar, and Japanese one uses rice vinegar. Also American mayo has a more thick gelatinous texture than Japanese mayo.
[Some of the same foods made] with American mayonnaise [are] milder than [they are] with Japanese mayonnaise. [This may be] because American mayo is thicker and contains more fat. [With Japanese mayo, foods tend to taste a bit saltier than with American mayo.]"
