Today we met up with my mother-in-law and went out to lunch together

Lunch time in Ebisu!

Today it was

TA-DA!

Jaa

[note: 'medama-don' is a bowl of rice with a fried egg (sunny-side up) on top, but I'm not sure what the 'jaajaa' bit means; 'jaa' can mean something like "whoosh" or the sound of pouring or dumping...or it might be possible that 'jaajaa' refers to potatoes ('jagaimo')...I'm not really sure]
and

Croquette teishoku ("set meal")

[note: that is, a single menu item that consists of a main dish (here, it's croquettes) together with rice, miso soup and/or other small side dishes]
and, and,

this thing, which I'd wanted to try no matter what............

TA-DA!

My mother-in-law and I split it

It was delicious

We ate so much, and now I'm really full

Gochisousama deshita

Noa is incredibly attached to my mother-in-law, and the two of them played a bunch together

She'd call out "Grandma!

Noa-tan was in a really great mood too,

so that was good

And the weather's really nice today, isn't it?

The sakura along Meiji-doori were blooming really beautifully

I want to go out for hanami~

But first, right now it's Noa-tan's nap time~~~

...〃............
