the place that Non drove us to is...............














Akachan Honpo!
[note: the name of the store could be translated as something like "Specialty Baby Goods"; I've also seen "Baby Depot," and the like]




Noa rode in this:













I came to buy




Diapers, and



Formula
[note: the actual work is 'miruku' "milk," but it can also be used to refer to condensed milk and powdered milk or formula, which seems more likely in this case]





and a few other things, because we'd run out






In this Akachan Honpo, they have a play area~~







Right away, Noa-tan...












ran over to play










She went over to Grampa...











and he played with her





And she went over to the gashapon (capsule toy) machines......
[note: she actually refers to them as 'gacha-gacha,' meaning "clank/clatter," which is the word that the first half of the name of the machine is from]









and tried turning the levers on them






She ran around a whole bunch as she played





I wonder if she'll be worn out and fall asleep on the way home.........






On our way back, we stopped at McDonald's,









and I bought a McShake
[note: that is, a McDonald's milkshake...I don't know that they're actually called "McShakes" outside of Japan, but that's what she says]

And now Non-san's gonna drive once again





as we head back home
