Noa is taking her nap right now,
so I'm going to take this opportunity to get dinner started~~
Tonight, at her daddy's request~~
first off...
Yaaay!
I'm making chikuzenni (a simmered chicken and vegetable dish)~~
I put lots of stuff in it~
Carrots
Daikon
Shiitake
Konjac
Burdock root
Bamboo shoots
Chicken
Kouya doufu (freeze-dried toufu)
and so on and so forth
It's complete and balanced nutrition
In addition,
I degorge (salt & rinse to lessen the bitterness of) some eggplant,
and deep-fry the pieces (without any breading)~~
then,
I dice some onion and put it in a pan on the stove
What can this be~?
And also...
TA-DA!

Boiled vegetable salad
~~!
Non really loves boiled vegetables~~
Mommy used to make them for her, way back when~~
...and I managed to get at least the initial prep work on these done in that same way~~
I'm so, so glad
But
there's still more stuff I want to do while Noa's asleep
Gots to hurry up and get that done!
