Today the weather is crazy nice, huh?

Feels so goooood

And Noa's daddy doesn't have to work today,

so we decided to invite some friends and go out for hanami (sakura viewing)!

Talking about this last night made me really excited, and this morning I've been making our obentou (boxed lunches)

I've gotta hurry and make them...
while Noa-tan and her daddy are still asleep~

First

I boil some green veggies with just a bit of salt

Then

I start preparing karaage (deep-fried meat, usually chicken)

Next

I make tamagoyaki (a kind of layered, rectangular omelet)

At our house we make sweeeet tamagoyaki

Then

I sprinkle some salt and pepper on strips of bacon, wrap them around these asparagus spears, and fry the little guys up

Ohh

Then

I put the chicken for the karaage into the deep-frier

And

the collection of side dishes is complete!

And, and

too~~

I'm confident that the karaage will still taste delicious cold

Heeheehee

Now all that's left is to put the side dishes into the bentou box~~

But, but

now

I still need to...............

cook the ya--so--...

[note: she puts a maru (placeholder circle thingy) in place of two of the characters here; presumably they are 'ki' and 'ba'...to spell out 'yakisoba']
And then, and then

I've got to make the o--giri.........

[note: this time it's probably 'onigiri']
I still have lots and lots to do

So much fun

It's still only 9:30;

I have plenty of time~

So I'm going to keep working hard

Oh!

My voice, by the way,

has come back a bit since yesterday

Thank you guys so much for your concern

It has got to be Yakisoba. That is one of Nono's favorite foods.
I wish I could go out for hanami on a sunny day; it's snowing outside my house right now.
