It's been a really long time, but today we did a Little Takoyaki Party~~~
Cabbage
Little wiener sausages
Octopus
Green onion
Cheese
Tenkasu (="agedama," fried batter bits leftover from making tempura)
Quail eggs
I get so I want to put in everything, y'know?
So I put in lots of different stuff~
Okay!
Let's hurry and make it~~
First,
Pour the batter onto/into the takoyaki pan...
Put in your favorite ingredients...
Cook it on the one side until it looks good.........
Non-san is
VERY serious and intently
...flipping them over
This~
is super fun~~
And,
TA-DA!
They're done~~~~!
Pretty, huh~~
And,
Pour on the mayonnaise & the (takoyaki) sauce~~
Itadakimaaaasu
Nom nom nom
Soooooo gooooood!
They turned out terribly delicious~
And,
This~
Ebisen (shrimp senbei)
You take the ebisen~~
And sandwich a takoyaki inside
Put on the mayonnaise & sauce
Squish it together
And eat it
I learned this way of eating them when I went to Osaka~~
I tried it~~
And it's really tasty~~
The first takoyaki party at our house in a while

It was a really fun and tasty meal~~
