, for tonight's main course, we're having........................
daikon-saaaaan!
It was only 100 yen~
And *that's* not something that happens everyday, so Non-san's gonna give it her all!
I'll be doing battle with the daikon!
[note: here she seems to have interpreted the final 'ru' of 'batoru' ("battle") as a Japanese verb ending, and have conjugated it as such (she writes 'batocchaimasu')]
And when it comes to battling daikon-san, it's just gotta be~~~~

That's right
Since it's cold out and everything, I'm making yukimi nabe~~
[note: literally, "snow viewing" nabe, it's a hot pot dish with grated daikon over the top (resembling snow, the theory is)]
Nabe is really healthy, and it warms you from the inside out...
I love it
And yellowtail was one of "
today's advertised specials," so it was really cheap too...and so right now I've got some of that simmering away too~~
I hope it turns out nice and tasty~~~
