Today I've been kind-of rushed, so I cut a few corners in terms of dinner.........
First was this
I cut up the soft (silken) toufu,
seasoned the pieces with salt and pepper,
coated them in flour,
and fried them~~~
Yep,
toufu steaks
And they're done~~
Then next,
I sautéed some chicken~~~
added in some balled konjac, along with~~~
Dashi soup stock
Soy sauce
Mirin (a sweeter, cooking saké)
Saké
Sugar
Chili peppers
to season it spicy-sweet, and then just let everything simmer~~~
Yes!
My simple boiled dish is complete~~
And today, once again.........
there was nattou and takuan (pickled daikon)
I mix, mix, mix it~~~
and it's done~~
Our dinner was the above dishes, along with rice and miso soup~~
And Noa-tan's dinner was...
Nikomi (boiled/stewed) udon
Noa, Daddy,
I'm sorry about dinner today...
But even though I really took shortcuts with it...Noa and her daddy both ate it up and seemed to really like it~~
